Suzanne Trupin, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., is CEO and founder/developer of HADA Cosmetic Medicine. She is also CEO of Women's Health Practice, a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, and Clinical Professor, and former Head, of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Trupin is also Clinical Professor in the Division of Nutritional Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a consultant to the Department of Kinesiology. She graduated with a B.A. from Stanford University, completed medical school at New York Medical College, and did her residency in obstetrics & gynecology at L.A. County Hospital, University of Southern California Medical Center. Dr. Trupin has received additional training and certification in laser/intense pulsed therapy and in the treatment with and administration of Botox® and Restylane®.

Dr. Suzanne Trupin is a journal reviewer for many journals, including refereed, lay, and trade journals. She is a guest speaker and online hormonal therapy consultant for Association of Reproductive Health Professionals, CIBA-Geigy Laboratories, Council on Hormone Education, Eli Lilly and Company, Foundation for Better Healthcare, Strategic Medical Education, and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Trupin is also an advisor/consultant for, and Collaborative Ambulatory Research Network (CARN) Fellow, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and Clinical Advisors, LLC of New York.

Dr. Trupin has been awarded grants for and is the Principal Investigator for research in hormone replacement therapy and hormonal alternatives, stress management, breast disease, sexuality arousal and libido, bladder, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, cardiovascular disease and other wellness states.

Dr. Trupin is a credentialed Menopause Practitioner by the North American Menopause Society and has been recognized as a Certified Clinical Densitometrist by the International Society for Clinical Densitometry.

Her papers have been presented at national and international conferences, including the prestigious Society of Gynecology Investigation and the Federation of International Obstetricians and Gynecologists Meeting. She has been featured in national publications including Working Women, Parents' Magazine, Brides, Harper's Bazaar, Redbook, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Health, and the Chicago Tribune, and has been a contributing editor of Beauty Digest Magazine, Ladies Home Journal, More Magazine, Self, emedicine.com, Cosmo OnLine, eFit.com and WebMD.com. She has a regular appearance on the WILL radio show Focus 580. She is the author Menopause—Making Peace With Change, the fifth edition.

In 2005, she was honored as 20 Outstanding Women You Should Know at the Working Women’s Expo presented by the Illinois Radio Group, Champaign, Illinois.

She is President and one of the founding members of the Champaign County Aquatic Education and Development Corporation (a 501c3), and has been a USA Swimming Official for over ten years and is currently a Referee level official, and Nationally Certified at the stroke and turn level.
